Description mahfiaz 2016-08-04 15:27:28 UTC
1) Open a calc document
2) Start dragging from one cell to select cells,
3) end drag in the same cell (so only one cell remains selected)
4) right click for context menu
5) see the context menu has "Merge Cells" item

Merge Cells has no use for one-cell selection and could be hidden instead.
