Could you please describe this proposal in more detail? Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information. Hi Buovjaga, when i was working on a file with many entries i found conditional formattion is very useful for visually highlighting cells according to a specific condition. But when you have a bigger number of conditions (for example when looking for a numer of keywords in a coloumn) it is very unhandy to define a big numer of several conditions. i found it useful to be able to aply the current conditional format to the desired cells (meaning that the cell format equals that one defined in the conditiona format - e.g. backgroundcolor = red, text heigth = 13 etc.) and "reuse" one conditional format to the new needs (e.g. other keyword, other background color etc.) Best Reguards Lukas I still do not quite understand. So this is something that Clone formatting tool would not solve? (In reply to Buovjaga from comment #3) > I still do not quite understand. > So this is something that Clone formatting tool would not solve? He wants that it happens automatically: he changes the value of the cell, the formatting chanhes accordingly. Howevet, AFAIK, it already exists, but uses styles and not direct formating. Lukas: maybe a picture would help more than a 1000 words? :) Don't get it as well. Either the dialog becomes unhandy with many conditions (that could be a good question for UX) or the workflow is unclear with styles/formatting etc. Just reopen if you can explain the use case ideally with an example/picture. |
