Similar to bug 99383, I noticed that if you insert an image from the gallery into a document in writer, the formatting toolbar would disappear before the frame and image toolbars appear, causing a jerking of the UI.

Regression as i wasnt able to reproduce this in 4.4.

Not seeing this myself. Tried with gtk3 as well.

Seems to be fixed in master now, but it is still broken in 5.2 and below. Sometimes it may not show instantly, but if you hold the drag for a few seconds before letting go, it will show.

I guess we can close it now as RESOLVED WORKSFORME, isn't it ?
