Description tommy27 2017-03-11 13:38:56 UTC
this enhancement request is a followup of Bug 106434

the Autocorrect replacement table (Tools - Autocorrect - Autocorrect options - Replace) can contain a variety of different items that fall in these 4 main categories:

1 - unformatted text autocorrect i.e. itme -> item (plain text)
2 - formatted text autocorrect i.e. itme -> item (bold red underlined)
3 - wildcard autocorrect i.e. .*item.* or .*item or item.*)
4 - emojis autocorrect i.e. :item:

all the items are showed all together in a single long list.

it could be nice to have a radio button or checkbox in order to show just the items from one or more categories.

the user could more easily identify which are the items belonging to one category or the other.

I set status as NEW since this has already been discussed in Bug 106434 with other users as well

+1, addition of :emoji: support hanging off the autocorrect feature makes the existing AutoCorrect Options "Replace" table unwieldy.

Providing capability to filter while configuring would now be very useful.
