Thank you for reporting the bug. it seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Currently I have installed the latest version of Libreoffice (5.4.0), which is affected the same way. Since the form asked for the earliest version I originally had entered 5.2.7.2 only. *** Bug 110747 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I set status to NEW since there's a duplicate reported against 5.3.4.2 Created attachment 135415 [details]
Wrong cursor position + cropped menu, toolbar & statusbar
Same problem with DELL XPS 9365 and LibreOffice versions 5.3.5.2 and 5.4.0.3 Display resolution 3200x1800, scaling 175%. Real cursor position is higher than visible cursor. Also main menu, top part of toolbar and status bar cropped. Fixed for me by disabling "Use OpenGL for all rendering" in Options -> LibreOffice -> View. In the meantime I saw some strange behaviour within my Windows 10 Home, that's why I decided to re-install it from scratch. I was surprised after that because the reason for my original bug report was gone. I do not remember if there are slight differences in the order of my installation (configuration, patches, application, etc) but it seems that LibreOffice looks correct now. I also checked because of that workaround from comment #7, in my setup "Use OpenGL for all rendering" is still enabled but everything seems to be ok with this setting. ** Please read this message in its entirety before responding ** To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b.
