I meant bug 99286 instead of #99286. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 99286 *** changed back to unconfirmed due to comment 23 of bug 99286 (sorry for confusion) Everyone can confirm this with just opening the attached document and choosing "Compress Image..." for the picture in it. Confirmed. Regression introduced in the 5.0 cycle. Created attachment 136969 [details] Video that illustrates the problem At first I was going to report something like #99286 for 5.1.6, but then I saw that it should be resolved in 5.4.1 and therefore I upgraded to 5.4.2.2. But it still works wrongly. Cropping of the compressed image still differs from the cropping of the original image (though, I should admit, its behavior is now much closer to the correct one than in 5.1.6). Please, see the attached video.
