The default file format for new spreadsheets *is* ODS. If you worked on already existing CSV, it's saved like that. It's upon user to understand file formats. LO has "Confirm File Format" warning. If you disagree and can add something to show it's LO issue, please explain in detail *with steps* and set back to Unconfirmed. Created attachment 137013 [details]
Save as dialog of new spreadsheet
Steps to reproduce: (on my installation under MacOS 10.12.6) 1) Create a new Calc document 2) select File menu -> Save as ... 3) the default file type is CSV What is the setting of Options - "Load/Save" - "General" - "Default file format and ODF settings" - "Document type: Spreadsheet"? You are so right! I never noticed that "Load/Save" - "General" - "Default file format and ODF settings" ... Sorry to have taken up your time ... |
