Description alexejuv 2017-10-19 10:26:45 UTC
Description:
I've recently updated from 4.x.x to 5.4.whatever_was_most_fresh, and then LibreOffice just wouldn't start. I saw the LibreOffice logo screen an that was it. I uninstalled it, installed 5.3.6, but the problem persisted.

I've tried renaming the user profile folder, to no avail.

It does launch in safe mode though. The most radical option offered hasn't solved the issue.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch LibreOffice or open any file associated with it.
2. Done

Actual Results:
LibreOffice doesn't get past the splash screen

Expected Results:
LibreOffice is supposed to start

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes, but it didn't fix the problem

Does LibreOffice launch in safe mode from the start menu?

Then, I'd say it's related to OpenGl. Please make sure it's disabled.

That seems to have resolved the issue, thanks!
