Description:
I have used visual basic in M. S. excel. It allowed for variables to be created. Would be very helpful if it is possible to have them in a spread sheet.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.name a variable
2.enter
3.call when needed

Actual Results:
Holds a number or text until ask for. And can be changed.

Expected Results:
Name a variable. then store number or text in it. Not effected when sheet is calculated.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
Thanks for such a great product.

Calc has a feature which is called "Named Expression". Calc does not need Basic for that. Please use a mailing list or a forum, if the help is not sufficient to learn how to use it.

Feel free to reopen the bug report, if that feature is not suitable for you. Please explain in more details, how you will use such "variable", in that case.
