Open Draw document and insert an own layer.
Click on layer "Layout".
Alt+click on you own layer, change the layer text and press Enter.
Notice, the text on layer "Layout" is changed.

This is not only an optical problem, but objects on that layer are affected too.
If you save the document and reopen it, you will get an empty layer "Layout" and a new layer with your entered name and all objects previously on layer "Layout".

The error is in MouseButtonDown in LayerTabBar.cxx.

I will fix it together with my work on bug 67248.

Regina Henschel committed a patch related to this issue.
It has been pushed to "master":
