I think it may well be an issue with this particular laptop. I have tried to do a Timeshift to reset the computer to an previous version of LibreOffice and the drop down arrow works as it should. But as soon as I allow Linux to update libreOffice to 6.0.6.2 the same problem happens again. I have managed to get another computer with Linux Mint with the same version of LibreOffice 6.0.6.2 and the dialog box works correctly?? So it seems it must be the individual laptop that for some reason has a problem. Many thanks once again for your response. |
