Description:
I work with Writer documents that have embedded pictures. Sometimes, when I open a document, the pictures disappear, leaving only a frame. This only happens once in a while, but when it does, it's a disaster. It's happened on every version of LibreOffice I've used. This is getting to be a deal-breaker.

can you confirm this issue with LO 6.1.2.1 ?

with LO 6.1 image handling has been reworked:
