After footnote #99,

    • there is no automatic space anymore between the number of the respective footnote and the text behind the footnote, and

    • the first line of the text in the footnote does not start at the same position as the second line of the text in the footnote

Dieter, thanks for the hint. I checked possible settings in LO which could resolve the behaviour described in this bug issue, but I forgot to check the LO help system, I am sorry.

The footnote style settings on the "Indents & Spacing" tab have the following pre-defined values:

"Indent - Before text" is set to 0,60 cm by default
"Indent - First line" is set to -0,60 cm by default.

I resolved the behaviour described in this bug issue by setting these parameters to 1,00 cm ("Indent - Before text") and -1,00 cm ("Indent - First line"). Now everything looks fine with regards to footnotes with numbers from 1 to 99 and > 99. The footnotes will look fine until I create footnotes with numbers > 999, but this is very unlikely.

I am suggesting to set these two values to 1,00 cm / -1,00 cm as the default values.
