Description pmanczak 2019-04-10 06:03:41 UTC
Description:
I often use some special characters like mdash, special quotation marks etc. I tried to add an keyboard shortcut for character array, but in Tools>Customize>Keyboard there's no option for that on the Instert list. I would be great if it was possible to define keyboard shortcut for inserting chosen special character, or at least to show the window for that.

The UNO command to add as a keyboard shortcut via Tools -> Customize is listed as Function "Symbol", there are two listed as well as Symbol shapes. You'll want the first.

The Special Character dialog launched has the character map and the rows of Rectent and Favorite charcters to pick from.

Thank you, it worked. My trouble was a result of inconsistent translation into Polish.
