When trying to copy text from another program and paste into writer, it is impossible to do unless I close the document and open it again.  The information is still in the clipboard, and can be pasted into any other program, just not writer.  It is not functional to have to close the document every other minute while I'm trying to write this thesis.

This is Needinfo but needless because most likely a duplicate of well known paste bugs.
