Description Roman Kuznetsov 2019-10-22 14:47:35 UTC
Description:
Add button "Update all" into Edit links dialog (menu Edit->Links to external files)

Now you may update only one selected link or (if you know about it!) you may select all link in list using Ctrl key and then press Update button in the dialog.

I suggest to add new "Update all" button to the dialog. It would be useful and users would can make it easy at once...

I'm always concerned about functions that applies to a wider context than what has been selected. How often and in what situations do you need to update all external sources? And isn't it covered by Data > Calculate > Recalculate / Recalculate Hard?

I can to have many external sources in my one spreadsheet. And after every changing in these sources I want to update my spreadsheet. And I want press only one button instead multiselecting of lines with source in the dialog.

I don't know. I say about Edit links dialog now

To keep the scope of action it makes sense to place "Update" (better renamed to "Update Now") next to the option Automatic/Manual and have "Update All" at the bottom bar.
