No, all of the Notebook Bar (NB) modes use Glade GTK .ui (aka the project's MUFFIN interface(s)). And like the 'Contextural Single' NB, they all will show an edge between the Menu bar and the NB GUI when the Menu bar is activated. Otherwise the NB Glade .UI are designed to be consistent in their spacing for each NB mode. They achieve that--but are not meant to match the legacy toolbars. Simple fact is the XML "legacy" toolbars are more tightly integrated and will appear seamless to the Menu bar. We currently have bug 125040 for replacement of the XML based 'Single Toolbar' by a more functional hybrid that better renders contextual widget activation. IMHO => NAB and a => WF Andreas, what do you think? Hi, ugly is very subjectiv and if you have an look at the other NB layouts it is usefull to have there an separation between menubar and NB. So I'm for wantfix cause otherwise we have to discuss in which NB layout the line should be visible or not. anyway thanks for the feedback. |
