Description:
The letter pair "UY" cannot be typed quickly, or the "Y" does not appear.  The issue seems to be more pronounced (i.e. there is a greater time after the U is typed that the Y will not appear) if a cell already has a few letters in it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select a cell
2.Type a few letters in the cell
3.Hold down left shift
4.Type U then Y quickly right after one another

Actual Results:
Only the U appears

Expected Results:
Should see UY


Reproducible: Always

Thank you for reporting the bug. Please attach a sample document involving letters that cause this issue, as this makes it easier for us to verify the bug. 

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the requested document is provided.

Please note that I currently cannot reproduce the bug following the information supplied in the bug report through typing random characters.

Hmm apologies.  I was making a video showing how it happens in Calc but not in Notepad, when it started happening in Notepad too.  It seems to be related to my running CPU-intensive tasks in the background, and not Calc.
