Description Heiko Tietze 2020-02-28 10:28:11 UTC
Calc had in the past the =game() function with Froggie, TicTacToe, and StarWars. Would be funny to have all/some of these back in the program.

Against.

The games were removed on purpose because when deployed in schools the pupils should not play but learn; also enterprises complained.

Completely against this.

1) There are far too much bugs, including regressions, crashes, very old standing bugs (just take a look at the creation date of the oldest bugs and you'll understand why some people get angry sometimes), big parts of LO which are almost deserted (Base, macro recording) or which are very problematic (infinite loops caused by layout management), etc. to work on useless things.
2) Easter eggs are just bloat. If people want to play, there are a lot of free games on the net.
