Base macro dialog image and dialog button image design not saved

I upgraded to LO version 6.3.5.2 release and can no longer see any images on my custom dialogs. I can select a file for the image control or graphic for button control and preview it in the BASIC development environment, but the images are not used in the dialog when it is run. When I go back into the development environment, the graphic file information is missing. It makes no difference if the "Link" box is checked in the image file selection process or not.

I have attached a Base document with several images in the archive to demo the problem. The form button image assignment is working, but the dialog image control and the dialog button image option only work in the BASIC designer. After the dialog is saved, then run from the macro, all dialog images are gone...

I think this issue is related to:

[Bug 116280] [META] Regressions introduced by the image handling refactoring

There will be a fix for one of these issues in LO 6.3.6/LO 6.4.2:
Bug 130793 - Basic Dialog does not import/export images

Dave: can you try with 6.4.3?

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

Have the same buggy behavior with LO 7.1.4.2 and a Base-file. Images on buttons will be shown while adding them to the button, but won't be shown while executing the dialog. The path the images are "saved" doesn't exist anywhere.

It's the same behavior when choosing to link the image and don't save it in the document. The same path will be shown afterwords.

Dear Dave,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword
