Description David C. Rankin 2020-05-03 07:02:05 UTC
Description:
Installing the helppack for LibreOffice 3.6.3 on windows 10, I notice the title text in the installer dialog wraps covering text on the next line. (It looks suspiciously like a Gtk+3 issue or side-effect) Likely some of the automatic font sizing wizardry isn't working as it should.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install 3.6.3
2. Download and Install LibreOffice_6.3.6_Win_x86_helppack_en-US.msi
3. Look at the Title text in the dialog

Actual Results:
The installer dialog text wraps covering text on the next line of the dialog.

Expected Results:
Dialog title text should remain within it bounds (preferably a single line) and not wrap covering next line of text.

Reproducible: Always

I have a screenshot that I will attach once this is filed.

Thanks for reporting this bug. According to your installer filename you apparently mean version 6.3.6 instead of 3.6.3, I changed the summary and version field accordingly.

I tested and it seems the installer layout changed with 6.4, so I don't think you will be seeing the problem with the current Fresh line.

David: would you like to try with 6.4.x?
