Description:
Base crashes whenever I open "Create Query in Design View" or I try to edit a Query (in Design View).

I CAN Edit or Create a query in SQL view.

This happens with FIREBIRD and HSQLDB.

I have tried the following.
Re-installed the software.
Uninstalled, deleted every databases, files and all temp files.
Uninstalled, deleted all database and installed older version.

Nothing works.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Libre Office Base
2.Open or Create Database
3.Click Create Query in Design View OR Edit Query in Design View

Actual Results:
"Due to an error, LibreOffice crashed. All the files. . . . . . . ."

Expected Results:
Query Designer should open.


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: Yes



Additional Info:
Using Lenovo 640 Laptop with 8gig memory.
Windows 10 - all updates installed.

The bug happens whether OpenGL is enable or desiabled.

Coudl you give a try at https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps#Corrupted_user_profile ?

Also, what LO version do you use? 32 or 64 bits?
If you use LO 32 bits, you must have Java 32 bits
LO 64 bits -> Java 64 bits

Julien - Thank you for your comment.

Yes, I have removed my user profile, both by using the instructions and by deleting: C:\Users\MH\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice.

I still have the problem - even after de-install then re-install.

I am using 64 bit with 64 bit Java.

If I set up a new user on the PC, then all is good for that new user.

So, something appears to be left behind and is causing the failure.

I have completely re-installed Windows and all other software from scratch.
This seems to have cured the issue, but is a drastic thing to have to do.

Maybe there was a problem on Windows, a problem that being solved resolved the LibreOffice problem.
