Description J Houbart 2020-08-20 07:45:08 UTC
Description:

The spell checker indicates that the word is not in the dictionary. When corrected, the word is duplicated (see screenshot)

Happens with version 6.4.5.2, I installed the new version 7.0.0.3 and the problem is the same

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Press F7
2.replace word
3.The word is wrongly duplicated (see screenshot 2)

Actual Results:
The document is worse than before processing by the spell checker

Expected Results:
Correct operation of the spell checker

Reproducible: Always

Just for the record: On pc Debian x86-64 with LO Debian testing package 7.0.1.1 + French UI, I don't reproduce this.
If I type "réseau", LO doesn't complain.
If I type "reseau", LO sees the error and it can be corrected without duplication.

Several questions:
1) Do you confirm you use LibreOffice and not OpenOffice?

2) Did you install any specific extensions? If yes, could you disable them and test again?

3) Could you give a try at https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps#Corrupted_user_profile?

Remark: please speak English so more people may help here if necessary.
