Saving space could be done with a section, there are forms to dynamically insert images, and if you want to replace an image but keep the size I guess it's also possible out of the box. But the use case is not clear to me and I don't understand the purpose of this feature. Are we still talking about a Writer document? If your workflow is very specific I would recommend to rather introduce it as extension. No further input, resolving as WF with the recommendation to realize this special workflow per extension. |
