Description Terence Whaley 2020-09-23 10:50:19 UTC
Description:
LibreOffice 6.4.6.2 for MacOS (Catalina). I downloaded this version of Libre Office yesterday. When I tried to create a document using one of my templates (.ott format) and then clicked on SAVE, it simply saved the document as the template, and did not offer to rename and choose the format, etc. No such problem with any previous version of Libre Office. (I can, of course, as a workaround use SAVE AS.)

Thank you for your help.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on NEW FROM TEMPLATE and choose template.
2.Create document using template.
3.Click on SAVE.

Actual Results:
Template is modified and saved.

Expected Results:
Dialogue box should open, allowing selection of format, location and name of document.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Not sure of anything else to add here. It's a minor inconvenience, but it would be good to have it fixed.

I cannot reproduce. (I thought I could reproduce when I started a new document and saved it as .ott. Then the next save is of course still as OTT. However, it I restart LO and open the .ott, then it always opens as "untitled")

Tested on Ubuntu 20.04 with 6.4.7, 7.0, 7.2 master.

Please re-test with 7.2

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
