Description Bill 2020-10-01 17:51:26 UTC
Description:
When I enter =IF((B2+F2)>B2, F2-B2,"") in column h, the gridlines immediately disappear. If I remove the formula, gridlines reappear. If I past the formula anywhere, gridlines disappear. A formula without the if operator doesn't do this. Can I prevent gridlines from disappearing?

Actual Results:
Enter a formula containing the if operator.

Expected Results:
Gridlines immediately disappear.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Gridlines should remain stable.

Calc worksheet

I should also have said that the lines disappear around the formula cells only, the rest of the sheet is unaffected.

Bill, please:

Select columns F G and H and press Ctrl+M

or

Select columns F G and H and go to Format - Clear Direct Formatting.

Waiting for your answer if this solved your problem.

That did solve it, thank you. What exactly does ctl-m do?
Comment 5 BogdanB 2020-10-02 20:32:05 UTC
It removes all the formatting you have done and now creating problems.

Ctrl+M it's a shortcut for "Clear Direct Formatting"
