For the record - not seeing the problem in GTK3 - Ubuntu 20.04 on 7.2 master. Just to confirm, do you see this issue when launching from the command line with SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen libreoffice or SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk3 libreoffice A new major release of LibreOffice is available since this bug was reported. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Still reproducible with Version: 7.3.2.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 49f2b1bff42cfccbd8f788c8dc32c1c309559be0 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb) Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded And sorry, I missed the previous comment (2). It is even worse with VLC=gen or gtk3: undocked find doesn't get focus on invocation and second ^F makes writer loose focus completely, i.e. 1. press ^F - find opens 2. type something - characters are typed in the document window, not the find box 3. press ^F once more 4. type something - characters appear neither in the find box nor in the document window. Completely unusable. Also undocked find status is retained between sessions: if undocked find was open when writer was closed, it will open next time at startup even though ^F was not pressed. IMHO it is wrong, undocked find status should not be retained between sessions. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 148803 *** |
