Description:
This problem began right after the last Libre Office update. The cursor freezes up, hence typing is disabled. The only way to remedy this is to close out the document and reopen it. However, this bug is also not allowing me to open up/work on any other documents simultaneously, which I typically do, since I often move back and forth between documents. The problem is, they all freeze up and I am unable to type on any of them, until I close out everything and reopen only one. But even then, after a few minutes, the cursor/document freezes up again and I have to close it out once again.

Actual Results:
I don't think there's anything I can do. I believe this is more than likely a bug inherent in the coding or general software program itself, not something to which a user typically has access.

Expected Results:
As I said, I've tried everything. Nothing has changed. The expected results would be that the document/cursor should be working or not freeze after several minutes of disuse. Not sure what else to say about this.

Additional Info:
I'm not sure what this particular problem would be called other than WRITER and FREEZING or CRASHING. FREEZING didn't seem to be an option.

Also, I'm not sure of the exact version of Libre, other than 7.0. But this problem began occurring after the last update approximately a month or so ago.

I'm not sure what else I can tell you. I've logged out completely -- even shut down my computer and completely rebooted everything several times. Nothing is working. And I'm not having any problems in other programs. It's just this issue with Libre.

Please provide the text copied from the Help -> About LibreOffice

Also, the Graphics card and driver for your system (available from running msinfo32.exe and copying the Components -> Display content).

Lastly, see if disabling the Skia GPU support, from Tools -> Options -> View and uncheck the 'Use Skia for all rendering' box and a restart, resolves the freeze.

Just wanted to let you know that since I'm not a computer tech and couldn't complete your form as requested since it included terminology with which I was not familiar, it was necessary for me to locate a local computer tech to assist me. 

Because, as I mentioned in my submitted ticket to Bugzilla, I began having the document freezing issue right after the last Libre Office update, it was determined that likely the problem had something to do with there being a bug in the newest version of Libre Office, which is more than likely the case. 

Here was the fix:

* Uninstall most recent version of Libre Office

* Reinstall previous version of Libre Office

Result: Since this operation was completed yesterday and I left a document page open all night to determine whether the problem (document/cursor freezing) would reoccur, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the document/cursor was no longer freezing, even after being open all night, nor did it occur when several documents were open (as had occurred previously).

SUGGESTION: With all due respect, please make your submission forms a bit more user friendly, a bit less technical and bit more  understandable at a laypersons level.
