If you delete the row or column of a reference cell, the reference it's replaced with !REF# what it's fine the referenced cell doesn't exit anymore. With functions like SUM the reference it's adapted depending on the status of Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice calc/General - Expand references when new columns/rows are inserted. https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/en-US/text/shared/optionen/01060300.html?DbPAR=SHARED#bm_id3151110 There is not a bug. Created attachment 166467 [details] Demo Insertion/Deletion rows without update of simple relative references Hi, The insert or delete of a row directly above a simple relative reference '=xy', does not change that reference. A relative reference in functions like SUM is adjusted as expected. I attached a simple demo Calc file. Best regards, Thomas
