Example file from Calc

When autofilling adjacent merged cells containing mixed strings of letters and numbers in Calc, the results are incorrect compared to non-merged cell results.

Steps to reproduce:
    1. Open attached file
    2. In A2:B2 there are letter-number strings with a difference of 3 between the number values. A3:B3 is similar but the difference is -2.
    3. In A7:D8 the same letter-number strings are placed in merged cells.
    4. In C2:F2 the A2:B2 range is autofilled, causing the numbers to grow with a difference of 3
    5. In C3:F3 the A3:B3 range is autofilled, causing the numbers to reduce by 2.
    6. In the E7:L7 range the A7:D7 range is autofilled, the merging now happens correctly, but the numbers in the contents don’t grow as a series by 3, instead by 1: a1 – a2 – a3 and a4 – a5 – a6
    7. Similarly in the E8:L8 range the A8:D8 range is autofilled but series detection does not work correctly: the numbers grow separately as two series: B12 – B13 – B14 and B10 – B11 – B12.

Actual results:
As above.

Expected results:
Series detection should work in merged cells, giving the same results as with non-merged cells. Cell range E11:L12 illustrates this.
