The result/preview of the selected format code is already in the preview in the middle of the right side of the dialog. What is the additional benefit of an Apply button? Uwe has a point, please comment. The code in the Preview is difficult to understand for a casual user—even after reading the "Number format codes" help page. An apply button would facilitate "kludging" the correct result by simply trying different formats until the user gets the right result. [Automated Action] NeedInfo-To-Unconfirmed (In reply to R.
