Description Nicholas van Oudtshoorn 2020-12-22 03:08:40 UTC
Description:
Using the Tabbed notebookbar, I like the way the Styles Preview panel is starting to look. (Different bug, I know, but I'd love to see context menu's there to change the styles from the toolbar).

The problem is that, under KDE at least, the style preview font colour only works if it is explicitly set. Any paragraph styles with automatic font colour is rendered as white text on a white background.

A workaround is to set a style's font colour to something manually.

Perhaps related to bug #98253, where a similar problem occured in the sidebar.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a writer document using the KF5 VCL
2. Switch to the Tabbed NoteBookBar, and into the Home tab
3. Notice in the styles preview pane that only fonts without automatic font colours are shown.

Actual Results:
Styles with the font colour set to automatic don't render properly.

Expected Results:
Automatic font colour should render appropriately. :-)

Reproducible: Always

Screenshot of the styles inspector.

This screenshot is using the Breeze Dark colour theme, but the bug is also present using the regular (light) Breeze colour theme.

It's working fine for me, can you please test with 7.3? There was only bug 143367, but it is for when the font has been explicitly set to white.

This is no longer an issue for me on the latest nightly.
