Didn't notice anything obviously wrong in the scrolling area. And the OpenGL part doesn't make much sense.. 7.0 uses Skia Raster/Vulkan (OpenGL is still present in a hidden corner of the code.. but more a temporarily left over for testing purposes. Please copy the help-about Window. And consider resetting the profile. Help -> Safemode. If that's still not helping: Tools -> Options -> view -> Check Force skia sofware and press OK & restart.. Thank you for reporting the bug. I can not reproduce the bug in Version: 7.0.3.1 (x64) Build ID: d7547858d014d4cf69878db179d326fc3483e082 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) Build ID: 761a672d62df1891b9f4f367a499b220ab2b33fa CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL What device do you use for scrolling? Mouse wheel? Page down key? Touchpad? (In reply to Roman Kuznetsov from comment #3) > What device do you use for scrolling? Mouse wheel? Page down key? Touchpad? I am not the OP, but a random person who just came here to report the same problem. I am using version 7.0.4.2 on Windows 10. The scrolling speed of mouse wheel is all right, but with the touch pad (Microsoft precision touchpad: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/component-guidelines/windows-precision-touchpad-implementation-guide ), the scrolling is too fast, especially when the document is zoomed in (like the "Optimal" zoom factor). I do not have this kind of problem with modern browsers like FireFox, even if the web page has been zoomed in (pinch-to-zoom on the touchpad). When using 170% zoom in FireFox so that a Wikipedia article fits the width of the screen, swiping up about 1 cm scrolls down the document by about 1 line. Doing the same thing on Writer, with Optimal zoom, 214%, the document is scrolled down by about 14 lines. Please test scrolling with touchpad of on a laptop with a Microsoft precision touchpad, which is sort of the standard touchpad type for most modern Windows laptops. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 119745 *** |
