Do you reproduce this in a brand new file?
Also, could you give a try at https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps ?

Yes.
Can't you reproduce this?

Only if you cannot reproduce. I also wrote in my bug report, that I can no longer find OpenGL settings in Tools ▸ Options... ▸ LibreOffice ▸ View ▸ Use OpenGL for all rendering as desccribed in the bug submission guidelines.

But why should have OpenGL of my user profile have an effect in the search field?

I turned off Skia and hardware acceleration but the crash persists.

Thank you for your quick feedback.
On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today (corresponding to future 7.2.0), I don't reproduce this with gtk3 or gen rendering (gen rendering allows to be a bit nearer as Windows situation but not identical of course).

Could you try the part https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps#Corrupted_user_profile ?

Finally, would it be possible you attach a backtrace? (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#Windows:_How_to_get_a_backtrace)

BTW, "NEW" status is when a bug has been confirmed by someone else.
