Description Callegar 2021-01-09 17:58:01 UTC
Description:
Libreoffice copes quite well with vector image formats making it convenient to prepare documents including SVG images. Microsoft Word has also gained the ability to insert SVG images in documents. However, when you export a writer document to the docx format, the SVG images get replaced by very low quality PNGs. I believe that this is to deal with older versions of MS Word that cannot cope with SVG. Please, provide an option to keep SVG images as SVGs in the docx export filter, so that the quality when exporting to the docx format is not compromised.

Sounds like a duplicate of bug 126084 and/or the 3 similar ones in its See Also field.
