The part Data area (Displays the cell range that you want to sort.) is not displayed for me in Calc. I don't know if this used to be there in the options window. Now at least I couldn't find the data area.
Either this should be out of the help documentation, or I have to report a bug that the data area is missing.

Since I have not seen the data area in a 5th version of Libre Office, I assume that the part in the help can be removed.
