Description thatho 2021-02-17 10:08:59 UTC
Description:
Distinct comment actions are on two places in Menu
* Edit > Comment >
* Insert > Comment
Consolidate or/and add Insert comment also to Edit > Comment submenu

Steps to Reproduce:
1. review a document and add comments and reply to comments

Actual Results:
The user has to visit two different parts of the menu tree to insert a comment a to reply to an existing comment.

Expected Results:
Actions to comments shall be consolidated to a single place. Duplicates is not a shame (the Insert > Comment can stay), but a reviewer can be troubled by going to different places in the menu, when manipulating comments

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

I don't support but let's UX.
Insert is used mostly via icon or shortcut.

Inserting a comment is a different action that editing (delete, resolve etc.). Would you search for Reply at Insert? Or vice versa to insert anything at edit?

While I agree to some extend that splitting the action is unusual it was done deliberately.
