Description:
I copy from somewhere a string provided with some character format like italics. I paste it at some position. I press CTRL-z. The string disappears, the format remains. It does not even disappear by pressing CTRL-z once more.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Apply a character format to a string.
2. Copy the string.
3. Paste it in some context lacking that character format.
4. Press CTRL-z.
5. The string disappears.

Actual Results:
Its character style remains in place.

Expected Results:
The style should disappear, too.

This is one of the ways how a file gets cluttered up with useless codes.

Christian, thank you for reporting the bug. It seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

Yes, it seems that in version 7.1.2.2, the problem has been fixed.
