Description jhsullivan47 2021-07-26 16:19:12 UTC
Description:
When a Tools/Language/for paragraph or for all text is set and additions or changes are made to the text, the spell check ignores the language that has been set and uses instead the default language (US English, if I am using the US International keyboard).

Steps to Reproduce:

To follow the example in which I experience the problem
1. Take any words in French in a document
2. Set Language for all text as French
3. Check that spell check is working for French
4. Add or insert new words into the text in French.

Actual Results:
Spell check as you go will highlight apparent errors. When you use Tools Spelling, the new words will be checked against the default language instead of French.

Expected Results:
It should recognise that the whole of the text chosen, be it a paragraph or all text, text should be in the selected language (French in this case).

Reproducible: Always

This works correct, and depends on Options->Language Settings->Languages->Ignore system input language.
