Can you please test again with the latest LO version? Preferable 7.6. "soffice" is the name of the executable but shouldn't show up as the application name. Created attachment 190081 [details]

As you can see in the image, the issue still exists. The Help About window also shows up as Soffice.
Version: 7.6.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 60(Build:1)
CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 6.5; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Ubuntu package version: 4:7.6.2~rc1-0ubuntu0.22.04.1~lo1
Calc: threaded
I compared with the previous version and the problem should be called fixed. It still says Soffice, but it clearly says LibreOffice where it didn't before. Thank you for checking with a more recent version, B.J. Let's mark as "works for me" then, but it's surprising that the Start Center still says "Soffice" (with a capital S too).. |
