Description Eek! A Bug. Kill it! 2022-04-21 04:48:03 UTC
Description:
Some user settings do not transfer to new versions of LO Writer. The culprits are in the Grammar checking and Punctuation categories (except, for whatever reason, the Word spacing and Multiplication sign in the latter case) under…

Tools > Options > Language Settings > English Sentence Checking.

All other user settings seem to transfer as expected with the installation of a new version, but the above mentioned settings must be reset to the users preference each time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make note of current user preferences
2. Update to new version
3. Note that some user preferences are changed

Actual Results:
See description above.

Expected Results:
All user preferences remain in place after an update to a newer version.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:

Thank you for reporting that issue. But I don't see a difference to your report bug 147268 so I mark it as duplicate.
