1. Use attachment 180349 [details] (or any document with a shape).
2. View > Toolbars > Drawing Object Properties.
   (if it is docked, then undock it and close)
3. Select one of the red rectangles (if using attachment 180349 [details])

Actual: Canvas jumps, as toolbar appears.
Expected: Canvas does not move.

4. Click in text (to deselect the shape).

Actual: Canvas jumps, as toolbar disappears.
Expected: Canvas does not move.
