I cannot reproduce this bug on my machine. However, my setup is using a 1920x1080p display with 100% scale. I'm on KDE as well. If I had to guess, I'd say this may have something to do with your screen resolution and global scaling. Can you try with 100% scale factor and see if the bug persists? Also with other screen resolutions? System info: Version: 7.3.3.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 30(Build:2) CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 5.13; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb) Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); UI: en-US Ubuntu package version: 1:7.3.3~rc2-0ubuntu0.21.10.1~lo1 Calc: threaded I changed the screen resolution to 1920x1080 and global scaling to 100%. After rebooting resizing the sidebar worked as expected and Writer didn't crash. The next thing I tried was setting the screen resolution to 3840x2160 and leaving global scaling at 100%. It didn't crash too. After switching back to my original settings I could reproduce the crash again. So we know: the problem may be caused by the global scaling. Are there any other information I could provide? Apparently we have a problem calculating the maximum width of the sidebar when a scaling factor is applied. I do not have a PC with a 4K display to confirm this bug. So I'm setting this to UNCONFIRMED for now to see if anyone else with a 4K display to test it. Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha1+ / LibreOffice Community Build ID: f2d2334b032780d97f7a95aacb8283008e91c529 CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-IN (en_IN); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Steps to Reproduce:- 1.Open Libreoffice writer 2.To click right side of the slide bar(click properties) 3.Resize the slide bar.check its working fine. Actual Result:- Its working fine on my machine. Looks like a duplicate of bug 141294. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 141294 *** |
