Description costaspappas 2022-07-08 13:40:59 UTC
Description:
When I have a vertical list of entries and Autoinput is enabled, then when I start typing a new word in a cell I should be offered a suggested word from the list in order to complete the input by pressing enter. The highlighted part of the input in progress is no not seen. If I press F2 or the Enter key then the word is entered. However, this is not useful because I only see the final input without having a choice to back out and not enter it if it doesn't suita me.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Enter a series of words in cells vertically. For example enter alpha, beta, gamma
2.Start entering alp as the next word
3.You should get a suggested entry alp followed by ha highlighted (to make the word alpha)

Actual Results:
There is no highlighted part, that is you do not see alpha in the cell with ha highlighted.

Expected Results:
One should see the word alpha with ha being highlighted. By pressing enter the complete word would be input.

Reproducible: Always

The problem is resolved if I disable hardware acceleration.
