LibreOffice print-display blank, prints blank sheet ...

LibreOffice was working fine (except for some random crashes - no clue why).

Was doing File>>Print>> proper display of the pages to print, successful print.

Yesterday, the pre-print display came up blank, print was blank.

The issue document is only 73 pages at the moment. Essential the print works ... I'm publishing a book and author depending on me.

Action:

Logged out of iMac, relog back in. Still blank.

Rebooted iMac, still blank.

Updated iMac 11.6.8 Big Sur (was updated already, but new? update came in overnight. Still blank.

File>>Print Preview DOES DISPLAY, but when I select icon to print, the Print Screen is, as before, BLANK.

In addition to Writer, I checked a spreadsheet I print from regularly. That fails to print as well.

The page count shows correct page numbers, but as I click through the pages, they are all blank.
