Please test with in Safe Mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode 1. Right click: Sorry to say, but right-clicking does not work in test mode either, regardless of the LO application 2. Menu "black out" Hasn't reappeared yet. As soon as the error is back, I will provide data Created attachment 181736 [details]
Black unreadable Menu
to 2nd:
Right now the menu change from normal to black on black
[Automated Action] NeedInfo-To-Unconfirmed Then please test disabling Skia Menu/Tools/LibreOffice/View ... done ... Disabling Skia don't change anything. Without Skia right-click also don't work. BTW: I'm absolutely sure that right-click worked well with 7.3.3. Maybe you have selected a dark mode. Menu/Tools7<options/Application colors/Colors scheme. ... serious? ;) No, it's on the default setting. But it doesn't matter either. 1. If a dark mode were active (which it isn't), it should still be legible and not just darken the menus. That would be a BUG anyway 2nd As I've just tried, you can set what you want. Nothing changes at all, apart from the symbols. So this is another BUG The only thing I've just achieved when trying to 2nd is that the menus are now probably permanently dark and almost illegible... EDIT say: After playing with different themes and set back to default it needs some restarts to lighten the menus [Automated Action] NeedInfo-To-Unconfirmed NOT REPRODUCED Steps Followed: 1a. Open any LO- App 1b. Right click anything 2a. Open any LO- App 2b. Chose any menu Actual Results: 1.: Opens right click option normally 2.: background stays white and letters in black Expected Results: 1.: Open right click options 2.: Stay as it Test Environment: OS: Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon Processor: Intel© Core™ i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz × 2 Software Version: LibreOfficeDev-7.4.0.0.alpha0_2022-01-23-x86_64.AppImage Sorry, was busy ... In the meantime I had downgraded to 7.3.x because I had to work urgently. Yesterday I got some time and completely deleted the whole package, cleaned up the registry, manually deleted the remaining directories and disposed of all the leftovers that I could find. Then I installed 7.4.0.3. The problems no longer seem to exist here: Right-click works again and the menus can be read at any time. The only thing that doesn't work anymore: Libre no longer remembers the window size and position when closing; annoying, but I can live with that So let's close this one. AS for window size, it's bug 150236 fixed in 7.4.1. |
