*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 51203 *** See comment 11 in bug 51203 as to why this probably won't get implemented any time soon, quoted here for information: "While I can see the value of having a Hyperlink data type, it would appear to depend on one of these options: 1. Changing ISO/IEC 9075-2 (unlikely). 2. Changing ODF to support a non-standard data type (also unlikely). 3. Changing ODF to include a further data attribute indicating special treatment of a VARCHAR data type (possible, but requiring an OASIS issue to be raised). 4. Some sort of hard-coded implementation in Base for special treatment of a VARCHAR data type (possible, but maybe undesirable). Option (3) would seem most likely IMO." |
