Open the document and have a look at the controls.

Open the attached document.
There is a little example form.
Fields are set as Data-Type String.

Both fields report (with red border): Value is invalid.
Both fields report this also while there is no content at all.
Up to LO 7.0.5.2 fields will report a missing entry, if there is no entry. String content as given in example will be right there …

It's a sort of duplicate of tdf#154734.
It should be fixed with https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=4829a85d0753c93419bd46b1d50bcfa6f0f3f1da

I gave a try with master sources updated today, I don't reproduce this however if you still have problem here with a build which includes this commit, don't hesitate to reopen this tracker.
