Delete option not present by pressing right click option
*** Bug 154502 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** As indicated in https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=154502#c1, you can use "Cut" entry. You can also just press delete key after selecting shape or image. If you have delete option in context menu you can add that command in Tools -> Customise -> Context Menus.
