Bugs similar to this have been reported on eddit.com/r/libreoffice for a year now: https://www.reddit.com/r/libreoffice/comments/uq7q3w/libreoffice_writer_crashes_when_theres_too_many/ Please paste here the information on Menu/Help/About LibreOffce (There is an icon to copy) And please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode Something to try: Menu -> Tools -> Options -> View -> Check 'Force Skia Software Rendering'. Press OK and restart Does it still crash? (In reply to m.a.riosv from comment #2) > Please paste here the information on Menu/Help/About LibreOffce (There is an > icon to copy) > > And please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode It's already pasted in the first comment. Thank you. (In reply to Telesto from comment #3) > Something to try: > Menu -> Tools -> Options -> View -> Check 'Force Skia Software Rendering'. > Press OK and restart > > Does it still crash? It doesn't seem to crash anymore. I'll leave the 'Force Skia Software Rendering' option on. Thank you very much, Telesto! Could you just apply this part? https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps#Graphics-related_issues_(_Skia_) In brief: - check you got last version of graphic driver - if it isn't the case, update it and give a new try in both case, if you still got the pb, please attach skia.log so we can blacklist this card for Skia rendering. Hossein: I put you in cc just you can see a typical case about what we have some time with Skia. Don't hesitate to uncc yourself afterwards :-) You put the bugtracker to FIXED but without telling anything. Does it work but only with Skia software rendering (so the pb is still there and we need skia.log) or did you update graphic driver and it works now (so it's not FIXED but WFM for "Works For Me" since there's no fix in LO for this bugtracker) ? No feedback, let's put this one to WFM then. |
